Allan Webb is a highly accomplished wood carver and cabinet maker, classically trained in London, where he developed his deep knowledge and skills in the spectrum of woodworking arts. His career work is in numerous public and private collections including The National Gallery, The Metropolitan Museum, and The Getty Museum. After 25 years of designing and making works in England and the United States, he has opened SMALLHILL; a custom woodworking workshop in Millbrook, New York, located in Dutchess County. Among the basic principles SMALLHILL is driven by is attention to detail. Thoroughness is applied to all aspects of a commission, from the initial consultation, design and development, to the making and installation. Our creations encompass classical and contemporary styles that are aesthetic and functional.
